Our client Daikin is looking for a Legal Counsel to strengthen its legal department in Brussels (Anderlecht), currently made up of 3 people.
This department is in charge of legal support for EMEA, in particular to monitor and ensure that the Group's various activities are compliant with the applicable laws and regulations and to identify risks (legal) internal and external, which can cause a negative impact to the business.
Job description
The Legal Counsel will report to CLO Daikin Europe Group of both teams (Brussels and Ostend).
Specifically, as Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:
- Drafting of all types of contracts (distribution, software, procurement, cooperation, confidentiality, etc.)
- Commercial litigation
- Any other legal matter (data protection, company law, etc.)
Profile
- Belgian Master in Law
- At least 4 years of experience in commercial law, contract law, commercial litigation and corporate law
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Flexible and result oriented team player
- Good communication skills
- Extremely precise, punctual and organized
- In-house experience
